Adam Best (Entrepreneur) (born on December 18, 1978 in Kansas City, Missouri) is an American entrepreneur, film producer, writer, and political activist. He is a co-founder and former CEO of FanSided, a sports, news, and entertainment network. Best graduated from Full Sail University's school of film. He has worked professionally as a screenwriter, commercially as an actor, and has written and directed several short films. He is an executive producer for the film, "Here We Are," which premiered at the Austin Film Festival. Best is a produced playwright. While studying playwriting at the University of Missouri, he received a Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival nomination. Best also briefly played linebacker and safety for the Emporia State University football team.

Best studied theatre at Kansas State University from 1999-2002. He then attended Full Sail University from 2002-2003 where he obtained a degree in film, cinema, and video studies. Afterwards, Best took courses at the University of Missouri from 2004-2005. Career
After being selected as a finalist for FOX Sports Next Great Sportswriter II contest in 2006 (under pseudonym "absolutebest"), Adam and his brother, web designer Zach Best, launched a Kansas City Chiefs blog called Arrowhead Addict.
In 2009, Adam Best and his brother co-founded FanSided, an online sports blog, news, and entertainment network. Adam served as CEO of FanSided until it was acquired by Time Inc.
In 2015, after FanSided was acquired by Time Inc, Best then became a general manager, overseeing the FanSided network as a division of the Sports Illustrated Group.
On March 2, 2017, Adam Best announced his departure from FanSided.
Activism
Best often expresses his thoughts and opinions on modern-day American politics and social issues through social media. He is known for his anti-Trump stance and advocating for liberal democratic causes and animal rights.
Controversy
On October 17, 2017, Adam Best publicly criticized online sports and entertainment publication BarStool Sports, for posting a tweet with sexual innuendo. In response, one of BarStool Sports writers posted old tweets from Adam Best, dating between 2009 and 2010, that included inappropriate sentiment towards women. As a result, on October 19, 2017, Best issued an apology on Twitter. On October 27, 2017, Best provided additional commentary on the incident in an op-ed titled 'A Look in the Mirror: Men Need to Help Change the Culture of Toxic Masculinity,' which was published on Medium.com.
